Mr. Dushyant Sinha is the Regional General Manager for External & Government Affairs with Nissan Motor Asia Pacific where he is responsible for managing Government and other key external stakeholder relations and serving as an expert on automotive policy development and related regulatory matters.

Dushyant has more than 24 years’ experience in the automotive industry spanning Government Affairs, Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Business Development and Market Intelligence & Research, across diverse Global Markets.

Prior to joining Nissan, Dushyant was with Frost & Sullivan as Senior Director in their APAC Practice, responsible for developing and driving mobility research and consulting business in Southeast Asia, managing major strategic engagements and engaging with Governments and policy makers.

Dushyant started his career with India’s Tata Group as part of their Group management cadre, Tata Administrative Service (TAS). He joined Tata Motors’ in 1997 and moved to their International Business Division in 2001 where he was closely involved in the company’s global forays, especially in South and South East Asia, Middle East and Africa. During his decade over stint with Tata Motors, Dushyant has held many portfolios including Country Head for Tata’s automotive operations in Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

Dushyant studied Physics at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and at the University’s Faculty of Physics & Astrophysics. He has an MBA from INSEAD (France), where he specialized in Strategy.
