Jelena has 17 years of experience working in cross-functional sectors. She spent 10 years at UNDP working in the energy division by providing energy audits and GHG analysis for energy conservation and renewable energy access, including harmonization of public policies in the energy field. She later joined the private sector in the UK where she was preparing industry for innovative projects and EU grant funding schemes in the energy field. Soon after, she joined the Singapore-based Non-government Industry Association where she provided engineering and legal consultancy services to multinational companies across APAC, in the field of decarbonization and regulatory frameworks.

Her international experience spans more than 30 countries, where she set standards for the application of energy efficiency and renewable energy to fight climate change with engineering and science-based approaches, and international compliances.

Jelena lived in the EU, USA, China, and Singapore and now she is residing in Thailand where she is holding the position of General Manager for Sustainability at DHL Supply Chain Thailand.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computing Science and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
