Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin bin Megat Hassan serves as the Chief Retail Officer of Retail Division in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). He is responsible for delivering the aspirational vision of TNB as a leading retail company of the future. His main tasks include enabling TNB’s new retail business growth in the kWh core business and new products and services beyond Energy. He also aims to deliver a quality customer experience by expanding TNB digital services.

He is also the Chairman of TNB’s wholly-owned subsidiaries, TNBX Sdn Bhd and GSPARX Sdn Bhd.

Before his current position, Megat served as the Chief Strategic Officer for six years, where he spearheaded corporate and business transformation for TNB with remarkable achievements and consistent profitable growth.

Leveraging on his 33 years’ experience at TNB, Megat is actively involved in external affiliations, serving as the International Technical Committee (IEC) Member and Head of SIRIM Malaysia Technical Working Group on Electrical Energy Measurement.

He also sits on the Industry Advisory Panels (IAP) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Technology Mara and Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department (EEED), University of Technology Petronas.

At the industry level, he became an Advisory Board Member of Asia IoT Business Platform (AIBP, 2019-2021) due to his keen interest in digital transformation strategy.
